Sukjae Hong is a partner of Bae, Kim & Lee LLC whose practice focuses on corporate bankruptcy and corporate restructuring. Sukjae advises clients on filing petition for rehabilitation proceeding (equivalent to Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code), establishment of rehabilitation plan and other issues that may arise in the course of rehabilitation proceeding such as M&A and represents clients in litigations regarding various disputes between creditors and insolvent company. Sukjae earned his LL.B degree at Korea University, College of Law and LL.M degree at UCLA Law School. Sukjae is licensed to practice in Korea. He currently serves as a general director Insolvency Law Institute of Korea.
