Moses is the head of legal at Ocean Winds Korea, a company dedicated to offshore wind power plant development, finance, construction, and operation owned by Engie and EDPR. As the top lawyer for all projects by Ocean Winds in the country with over 3GW of capacity in the pipeline, Moses handles and manages all legal matters regarding permitting, local consent, commercial and EPC contracts, disputes, government affairs, M&As, project financing, route to market, joint development, governance etc.
Before joining Ocean Winds, Moses was a senior corporate counsel at Hyundai Corporation Holdings and a senior lawyer at KPMG in Korea, and a commercial litigation and energy team attorney at Moore & Van Allen representing and advising on FERC-related matters with a focus on Section 4 Rate Cases, FERC compliance, and government investigations in the US. Moses also has experience in real estate finance as a law clerk for Winstead’s Charlotte office.
Moses earned his LL.B. degree at Sungkyunkwan University College of Law, LL.M. in energy law at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, and J.D. at Charlotte School of Law.
Moses served as the CAPABA Membership Chair as well as a Mecklenburg Bar Foundation member. Currently, he is on the boards of directors of IAKL and IHCF. Moses is licensed in the District of Columbia and the State of North Carolina.
