Irene is a corporate and M&A attorney at Yoon & Yang, with multi-faceted, cross-border experience from private practice, in-house and U.S. government. Irene previously worked as a principal legal counsel at Samsung Electronics, where she supported the chipmaker on its high-stakes transactions with big tech, automotive companies, and global suppliers. Irene started her career as an attorney at U.S. Internal Revenue Service, Office of Chief Counsel, where she represented the tax authority on high-profile investigations and trials with emphasis on financial institutions, investment funds, and heavy manufacturing industry. Irene received her J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Irene is licensed to practice law in New York.
