Client Relations Partner, Rutan & Tucker, LLP
Gloria Lee is the Client Relations Partner at Rutan & Tucker, LLP, one of the largest full service law firms in California. She has almost 20 years of legal experience advising companies in technology, real estate, consumer retail, biotechnology, media, and restaurant and hospitality. She is also an early stage investor in each of these industries and a Venture Partner at Ethos Fund, a venture capital fund investing in early stage tech companies in the U.S. and Southeast Asia.
Ms. Lee is an independent director for Hanmi Bank (NASDAQ: HAFC) and currently serves as Chair of the ESG Committee. She also gained invaluable operating and in-house counsel experience as a co-founder of Kwell Laboratories, a biotech manufacturing company.
Ms. Lee is actively involved in the community and serves on the national boards of Council of Korean Americans, LiNK, and Olive Crest. She is a former President of the Orange County Asian American Bar Association and a founding Board Member of the Orange County Korean American Bar Association. She has also served on the Executive Board of Asian Americans Advancing Justice and on the Board of the UC Berkeley Law School Alumni Association.
Ms. Lee earned two BAs and her MA concurrently in four years from Stanford University where she graduated with distinction and was co-captain of the three time national champion badminton team. She also earned a JD from UC Berkeley School of Law.
