Minkyeong Jeon is a public interest lawyer at Onyul, who specializes in women and children’s rights issues. Prior to joining Onyul, Ms. Jeon was a member of the Adoption Policy Team at NCRC (National Center for the Rights of the Child), an institution under the Ministry of Health and Welfare, where she worked on the revision of the Adoption Special Act and the enactment of the International Adoption Act, as well as general child welfare issues of children under protection. She earned her LL.B degree at Sogang University, College of Law and LL.M degree at Sogang Law School in Korea. She is licensed to practice in Korea. She is currently co-working with overseas adoptees in filing a complaint with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission regarding human rights violations of overseas adoptees.
